At ŌURA, scientific validation is at the heart of what we do. We’re proud to share findings from a recent study by Dr. Rebecca Robbins and her research team at top US hospital, Brigham and Women’s, published in the peer-reviewed publication, Sensors. This research evaluated the accuracy of sleep staging algorithms in consumer wearables, revealing that Oura Ring outperformed Apple Watch by 5% and Fitbit by 10% in four-stage sleep classification, adjusted for chance and compared to gold standard assessments.
