Wicked star Jonathan Bailey reveals he has a nude photo of himself wearing only Fiyero's boots

The snapshot "sort of felt right" for the character, the "Bridgerton" actor said.

Wicked costar Jonathan Bailey had a travel hiccup during filming that left him with nothing but the boots he wears playing handsome heartthrob Fiyero.

"So my first in-person meeting, knowing that I was going to play Fiyero, was with the guy that made my 'Dancing Through Life' boots," Bailey said in a video posted Friday on Wicked's social channels. "I think I flew over on a Tuesday, and then I was filming Bridgerton on the Wednesday to Saturday, and, as I got there, nothing arrived. So all I had was my Fiyero boots."

He made the best of it.

"There's an amazing photo that no one's ever gonna see of me in nothing but my boots, which sort of felt right for Fiyero somehow," he quipped.

Though audiences know Bailey as Bridgerton's Lord Anthony Bridgerton, this fall he will play the object of affection for both Ariana Grande's G(a)linda and Cynthia Erivo's Elphaba in the film adaptation of the musical. Both are based on author Gregory Maguire's 1995 novel of the same name.

The ambitious movie serves as a prequel to The Wizard of Oz, explaining the two main characters' transformation into Glinda the Good Witch and the Wicked Witch of the West that audiences meet in the beloved classic. Early on, the characters are friends and both in love with Fiyero.

The big-screen version of Wicked is separated into two parts, the first of which arrives in theaters Nov. 22.

In addition to Grande and Erivo, the film also stars Saturday Night Live cast member Bowen Yang, Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, and the always quirky Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard.
