EW's editorial guidelines Updated on July 22, 2024 02:13PM EDT Arguably the most anticipated movie of 2024 — and Marvel's only one this year — is finally here: Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's odd-couple superhero adventure in Deadpool & Wolverine. (Check out EW's recent cover story with the two.) After previously hanging up his hat as Wolverine/Logan, Jackman returns as the famed X-Men character, teaming up with Reynolds' Deadpool/Wade Wilson for...well, we don't really know why. Details are few, but we have a feeling the secrecy will be well worth it. One thing we do know: Expect lots of cameos. Also in theaters: the coming-of-age story Dìdi; Bette Midler, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Megan Mullally, and Susan Sarandon in The Fabulous Four; and Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway in Mothers' Instinct. On TV, Lisa Kudrow and Taika Waititi star in the live-action version of Time Bandits; Tony Hale and Zosia Mamet star in the dark comedy period piece The Decameron; the drama comes to an end on the final season of Elite; CBS looks back on the life and career of Bob Newhart; and the season finales of Jake Gyllenhaal's Presumed Innocent and Eva Longoria's Land of Women.
