TV Alert! The Circle season 4 trailer reveals cyber attacks, throuples and ... the Spice Girls? Please say they'll (actually) be there! By Sydney Bucksbaum Sydney Bucksbaum Sydney Bucksbaum is a writer at Entertainment Weekly covering all things pop culture – but TV is her one true love. She currently lives in Los Angeles but grew up in Chicago so please don't make fun of her accent when it slips out. EW's editorial guidelines Published on April 27, 2022 11:30AM EDT Message: The Circle is really spicing things up in season 4. Send! The first trailer for the next season of Netflix's social media reality competition series is here, and not only does it reveal a potential throuple/three-way situation unfolding between some of the players — it's going down in the DM's! — it also teases the arrival of ... the Spice Girls? Stop right now! While we don't know for sure, the footage promises "a lot more spice" with an image of the Union Jack flag for added emphasis, which really can only mean one thing, right? Our suspicions that Mel B, Melanie C, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham may show up are further confirmed when we also see the silhouettes of a group of women standing in iconic Spice Girls poses before two unidentified women are shown walking through a door in the classic The Circle-style entrance. Does this mean the Spice Girls are actually joining the game, or is this another case of a celebrity catfish like last season's Lance Bass cameo? Please say they'll (actually) be there! What we do know for sure is that season 4 delivers a throwback to "your mom" jokes, vulva pillows, and a cyber attack/data breach, as well as a player who thinks the $150,000 cash prize can buy him a house and a pool (#KeepDreamingCircleFam). Check out the new trailer below now: The Circle season 4 premieres Wednesday, May 4 on Netflix with the first four episodes, with new episodes debuting each week before the finale premieres Wednesday, May 25.
