TV Who's the drama? Drag Race all-winners cast teases 'egos' and 'chaos' on All Stars 7 Monét X Change says she wants AS7 brimming with UK Versus the World-level chaos. Almost all of the drag content on this site is my fault (you're welcome). EW's editorial guidelines Published on April 27, 2022 01:00PM EDT Are the queens of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7 the drama? "The egos are huge," promises All Stars 5 champion Shea Couleé, who joins her fellow AS7 all-winners sisters for EW's cover story interview (above) previewing all the drama in store for the season ahead. Adds season 5's Jinkx Monsoon: "It was like eight internal battles all happening in the same room, at the same time." All Stars 4 winner Monét X Change recalls approaching AS7 in a more "uninhibited" way than she did in the past. Monét X Change for EW. Vijat M for EW "Like, 'You know what? I'm just ready to have fun and be strategic.' As someone who watches a lot of Drag Race and All Stars, I want them to be shady and send people home," she explains. "Cue UK Versus the World. I loved that they were being so shady and made good TV. I felt that energy. Like, "Let's create chaos, let's have fun." Monét's fellow All Stars 4 champion Trinity The Tuck, however, feels that the primary source of drama wasn't between the sisters of the season, but rather the masterminds behind the scenes. "I feel like the drama was more like, we're businesswomen in control more of what we want," she says. "It was more like getting [the crew] behind the cameras together." Perhaps the patron saint of drama on All Stars 7, Shea Couleé — who navigated multiple perspectives and varying degrees of truth amid a show-stopping, alleged "campaign" to oust her from the AS5 competition back in 2020 — entered the new season with refreshed perspective. "Not really," she says when asked if the drama over the "campaign" changed the way she approached navigating the competition this time around. "My style as a competitor is focused on trying to be my best self and not worry about what other people are doing. If girls wanted to do a campaign to try and send me home this time, I knew the fans will do their diligence and tear their asses apart, so I slept well at night!"
