Tiffany Haddish says she scammed people into buying used underwear she claimed belonged to an Oscar winner

The comedian made the shocking admission on an episode of Nick Cannon's podcast.

She ready, but, dear reader, you might not be ready for Tiffany Haddish's latest story about her past.

The Girls Trip star revealed on the latest episode of Nick Cannon's We Playin' Spades video podcast that she once scammed people into buying her used underwear by telling them that they belonged to an Oscar-winning Hollywood icon.

"Back in the day, when I was struggling for money, I used to sell my panties. I would say that my name is Rosalinda and I was a housekeeper for Halle Berry, and I have some of her dirty panties, if anybody wants to buy some," the 44-year-old admitted on the episode below.

Haddish recalled that she "would make $300" for the side hustle "every time" she sold a new pair.

"It was literally on Craigslist, selling panties on Craigslist," she summarized before the panel moved on to a new topic. (Entertainment Weekly has reached out to Berry's representatives for comment.)

Earlier on the podcast, Haddish said that she also once purposely "s--- in somebody's shoes," though she didn't name the target of her, uh, little operation.

The underwear business launched prior to Haddish's rise to stardom in the 2017 Girls Trip hit, which made her a household name not only for her comedic chops in the ensemble comedy but for her comical approach to press interviews she was doing around that time. Particularly, Haddish courted interest for a story she told about taking costar Jada Pinkett Smith and her husband, Will Smith, on an iconic Groupon swamp tour.

Later, in a 2023 interview for her role in Haunted Mansion, Haddish told EW she initiated Groupon: The Sequel while making the movie in Louisiana, though none of her fellow castmates joined her this time.

"I did the haunted walking tour. I had got a Groupon," Haddish said at the time. "None of the cast went with me, but my team, my hair and makeup, my assistant!"
