It’s one of many mysteries surrounding the buzzy extension of the popular USA series, which ran from 2011 to 2019. Suits got a second wind, and became a cultural phenomenon, when it arrived on Netflix and Peacock, ranking as 2023's most-streamed show. The series became such a sensation that star Patrick J. Adams shared his belief that “Suits walked so that Succession could run.” While many details about Suits LA are still under wraps, some announcements and teasers have offered insight into the spinoff and what to expect when it airs on NBC next year. Ted soon finds his loyalties tested when his capable team's personal lives threaten to intersect with their professional ones. NBC has not confirmed whether any original Suits stars are returning for Suits LA. But many actors have expressed interest in the spinoff — and have even hinted at their involvement. Wendell Pierce — who played savvy lawyer Robert Zane, father to Meghan Markle’s Rachel — recently spoke about Suits LA in an interview. "I'm sure that we will be making cameos on it,” Pierce said on SiriusXM’s The Spotlight with Jessica Shaw in October. "I better be asked to make a cameo on the show, 'cause we went on strike because of not getting anything from that resurgence,” referring to the SAG-AFTRA strike. Sarah Rafferty and Patrick J. USA Network Though NBC has not officially confirmed his casting, Macht hinted at Harvey Specter heading west in a Nov. 20 Instagram post. Set to the Suits theme song, the short video shows Macht slipping on Harvey’s trademark monogram shirt sleeves and labeled shoes. The caption reads, “When an old friend is in need…it’s time to take care of things and make those very 'things' right.” Deadline also reported that Macht will reprise his role on Suits LA for a three-episode arc. But it would undoubtedly be a massive pop culture shock if the Duchess of Sussex appeared in Suits LA, even just for a brief cameo. Former costar Sarah Rafferty spoke with EW about whether Markle would be a guest on her Suits rewatch podcast, cohosted with Patrick J. Adams. "Everybody's invited, and everybody has been so supportive," Rafferty said. However, Markle has not publically responded to Rafferty’s invitation or acknowledged a possible Suits LA appearance. Are there any teaser trailers for Suits LA? Yes! EW exclusively debuted a teaser for Suits LA on Nov. 22, offering a never-before-seen glimpse into the new spinoff. The trailer is mostly a montage of Los Angeles palm trees and lavish offices with men and women in stylish suits (obviously). One shot of Amell and McDermitt laughing in a swanky restaurant suggests similar camaraderie vibes may carry over from Suits. The teaser also plays up the nostalgia factor by including the original series' theme song, "Greenback Boogie." When will Suits LA premiere and where can you watch it? Suits LA debuts on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. The series premieres between pilots of The Americas (7 p.m. ET/PT) and Grosse Pointe Garden Society (10 p.m. ET/PT).
