EW's editorial guidelines Published on November 20, 2020 12:13AM EST The wait is finally over: Megan Thee Stallion has delivered her Good News. The Houston rapper's debut album comes alongside a visual for her new single "Body" that sees her donning various sultry black outfits while rocking out with a group of dancers. Taraji P. Henson, a long-time fan of Hot Girl Meg, even made a cameo in the fun music video. The full LP has 17 tracks including past favorites like her first No. 1 hit "Savage Remix" featuring her hometown hero Beyoncé, and "Don't Stop," the song she performed with Young Thug on Saturday Night Live. The album also has multiple new collaborations with artists like Big Sean, 2 Chainz, SZA, Popcaan, and peers like DaBaby and City Girls, who have also had breakout years. After a 2019 that launched her into fame off the success of her Fever mixtape, and coining the phrase "Hot Girl Summer" (which would later be the title of her single with Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign), Megan told EW that her debut album was imminent. A couple of disputes with her label would delay those plans though, and nearly shelve her March project SUGA, but the musician prevailed and is going into the end of the year as one of only three female rappers to have more than one song top the Hot 100.
