"Put your hands up, come on!" the Joker: Folie à Deux actress shouts in the first trailer for the upcoming HBO project, which highlights a show from her 2022 Chromatica Ball concert tour, which hit stadiums around the world. "This film chronicles a time of immense creativity… the fashion, the dance, the music," Gaga wrote Wednesday on Instagram alongside the trailer. "Revisiting the tour leaves me speechless the way we had each other — you all showed up for music and art in a big way, and with a level of excitement and freedom that I will never forget. Stadium after stadium. Sold-out crowds. The deafening sing-alongs.Chromatica was colorful revenge. The chaos of it all became pure energy and life. With a texture best experienced live." She went on to say that self-acceptance is "a theme that cuts through" her material — but particularly on her 2020 album, Chromatica, which included "Rain on Me," her No. 1 hit and collaboration with Ariana Grande. Gaga announced a potential Chromatica Ball film in September 2022, before similar concert film releases from Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, when she confirmed that cameras had recorded her Sept. 10 performance at Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium.
