Kieran Culkin tells Pedro Pascal to 'suck it' on stage after Golden Globes win

The "Succession" star looked at "The Last of Us" actor and delivered the playful jab during his acceptance speech.

Judging by Succession actor Kieran Culkin's 2024 Golden Globes acceptance speech, Pedro Pascal might be the next recipient of an accidental d--- pic from Roman Roy.

As the 41-year-old took the stage to receive his trophy for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series — Drama, he channeled his foul-mouthed Succession character and took a playful swipe at his fellow category nominee, who was nominated for his work in the HBO series The Last of Us.

"Nightmare, ugh! Sit down. Sorry, burping. Indigestion. Otherwise, this is a nice moment for me. I've blown it already," Culkin said at the top of his speech. "I was nominated for a Golden Globe, like, 20 years ago. When that moment passed, I remember thinking, 'I'm never going to be back in this room again,"' he said referring to his 2003 Best Actor nomination for the film Igby Goes Down.

He continued, "It's fine, whatever. But, thanks to Succession, I've been in here a couple times, it's been nice, but I sort of accepted I was never be on the stage. So, this is a nice moment. Suck it, Pedro. I'm sorry," he said holding his statue up to Pascal. "Mine!"

The camera then cut to Pascal, who laughed in his seat as Culkin spoke.

Culkin wasn't the only star of HBO's Succession to win at the Golden Globes ceremony, with Matthew Macfadyen also taking a statuette on Sunday night, while several members of the ensemble — including Brian Cox, Sarah Snook, and Jeremy Strong, among others — also scored nominations for their work in the series.

Though Pascal lost to Culkin, The Last of Us won in eight competitive categories during the weekend's Creative Arts Emmys ceremony. Pascal and fellow star Bella Ramsey will compete for Primetime Emmys at the Jan. 15 show.
