It's a moment that's elicited gasps in movie theaters over the past few months as the ad has played ad nauseam, but the moment almost never made it to screen. "I almost trimmed that shot," Twisters director Lee Isaac Chung tells Entertainment Weekly in a previously unreleased portion of our cover story interview with the Academy Award nominee. "But the funny thing is there were people on my editing staff who told me, 'You cannot trim that scene.' They almost rioted." When told it seems like he made the right call, based on the fan reaction, Chung replies, "Yeah, seems like it." Glen Powell in 'Twisters'. "I can't lie; I do feel nervous about it," says Chung. "But I'm also very excited. I can't wait for people to see what we've been cooking.
