Countess/Getty Images; Taylor Hill/FilmMagic The Television Academy announced Thursday that Anna Chlumsky and Shemar Moore will announce the nominations for the 69th Emmy Awards on Thursday, July 13 at 8:30 a.m. PT. The actors will present the nominations live, which will be available to live-stream on Emmys.com, from the Television Academy’s Saban Media Center in North Hollywood, Calif. “It has been an extraordinary year for television. The industry has never been more dynamic or inventive, and storytellers and content creators have never been more prolific,” said Television Academy Chairman Hayma Washington. “We are thrilled to have these two talented and respected performers join us in launching another exciting Emmy season.” RELATED: The Most Expensive TV Shows of All Time Chlumsky is currently starring as harried assistant Amy Brookheimer on HBO’s Veep, a role which has earned her four back-to-back Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She could find her name once again on that list this year. Moore will be returning to the small screen this fall with a leading role on CBS’ new series S.W.A.T. He previously starred as Derek Morgan on 11 seasons of Criminal Minds and has a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his work on The Young and the Restless. The 69th Emmy Awards will take place on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. ET. The Late Show host Stephen Colbert will host the ceremony, which will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Close
