Deadpool & Wolverine, now the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time, is set to hit digital retailers (Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango) on Oct. 1 before releasing on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on Oct. 22, Entertainment Weekly can exclusively confirm. And, naturally, the film comes with an onslaught of bonus features, including a gag reel, deleted scenes, and making-of videos. EW can exclusively preview one such feature (shown above), with a behind-the-scenes peek at all those Wolverine variants, including Henry Cavill's "Cavillrine" and Hugh Jackman's different looks as the many alternate-reality versions of the adamantium-clawed Logan. The long-hyped event film kicked off after the storyline for 2018's Deadpool 2, when Reynolds' "Merc with a Mouth" is plucked from his current reality and brought to the headquarters of the multiverse watchdogs, the Time Variance Authority. Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) informs him that Wade's world is destined to perish after the death of its "anchor being," which happens to be the Wolverine we know from the past X-Men movies. So Deadpool sets off to find a different Wolverine from another parallel universe to fix his own, setting himself and this other variant on an odyssey across the Marvel multiverse, featuring an assortment of surprise cameos along the way.
