Memorial Day vacationers who want to visit the beach but avoid the rays will have an indoor alternative.

The release date for Paramount’s remake of Baywatch has been shifted to May 26, the studio announced Monday, in time for the holiday weekend. The Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron-led ensemble comedy was initially scheduled for a May 19 release. It will now go against Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Life, a science-fiction film starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds.

Director Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) helms the R-rated take on the ’90s lifeguard drama. Mitch Buchannon (Johnson) plays an experienced vet forced to deal with cocky newcomer Matt Brody (Efron).

Alexandra Daddario stars as Summer; Kelly Rohrbach plays CJ Parker; Ilfenesh Hadera plays Stephanie Holden; and Jon Bass plays Ronnie. Priyanka Chopra plays the villainous Victoria Leeds.
