EW's editorial guidelines Updated on January 23, 2023 01:19PM EST Anticipation for xXx: Return of Xander Cage must be pretty high because the latest trailer reached a big viewer milestone—and quicker than the last look at the new film. Paramount revealed Friday that the trailer, which Vin Diesel recently debuted over Facebook Live, surpassed 100 million views across multiple platforms in just two days. The first teaser trailer was able to reach that number, but it took a week. The Diesel factor surely helped matters. The actor spent years cultivating a large online community of his fans revolving around his Facebook page. Because of the page's increasing popularity, Diesel has been able to reveal first looks, behind-the-scenes production images, posters, and more for his upcoming films. Diesel returns as Xander Cage in the third film within the xXx saga. Under the direction of filmmaker D.J. Caruso, he's joined by Donnie Yen, Deepika Padukone, Kris Wu, Ruby Rose, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Toni Collette, Rory McCann, and Samuel L. Jackson. xXx: Return of Xander Cage will hit theaters on Jan. 20. Watch the latest trailer below. Close
