This past weekend, the cast of Firefly gathered for a panel at Long Beach Comic Con and addressed the likelihood of a reunion happening at some point in the future. Describing the show as his “dream job,” Firefly star Nathan Fillion said he understood the desire for more, but felt that one season was “enough.” “It’s really hard to look at that kind of stuff and say, ‘Give me more, because it’s not enough,'” said Fillion. “Oh my God. It was everything. It was everything. How can everything not be enough?” However, Jewel Staite said she and Sean Maher were eager to for the show to return. According to Staite, she and Maher had dinner the night before the panel and Maher absentmindedly said, “I can’t believe they haven’t picked us up,” when she said something about Netflix.
