TV Article Quantum Break trailer, PC release date By Jonathon Dornbush Published on February 11, 2016 06:08PM EST Shawn Ashmore’s Jack Joyce no longer wants to take time for granted as he mourns the loss of his brother. Luckily for him, Jack has the ability to manipulate time, and he’s going to make sure things turn out differently as he takes on the corrupt Monarch Solutions in Quantum Break. The new live-action trailer for Remedy Entertainment’s new game blends a mix of gameplay chapters putting players in the shoes of the game’s hero Jack, while TV episode-like interludes offer the perspective of Jack’s antagonist, Paul Serene (Game of Thrones‘ Aiden Gillen), who also has time-related powers. The gameplay and cinematic aspects will play out in ways determined by the player’s choice, as Paul’s Monarch Solutions chases Joyce down. In addition to the new trailer, Microsoft has made a few new announcements about the upcoming Xbox One exclusive — namely, that it will also be arriving on Windows PC this spring. Additionally, players who buy Xbox One copies of Quantum will also receive digital copies of Remedy’s last acclaimed game Alan Wake, as well as that game’s expansion content. And Xbox One players who digitally pre-order the game will receive the Windows PC version for free. Also featuring Dominic Monaghan and Lance Reddick, Quantum Break is set to hit the Xbox One and PC on April 5.
