Savenok/Getty Images The first-ever Silicon Valley Comic Con will take place March 18–20 at the San Jose Convention Center. Keep an eye out for a DeLoreon: EW is excited to announce that Back to the Future stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson will attend the event, taking part in a panel, photo opportunities, and special signings. “I wanted to be a part of Silicon Valley Comic Con because for me this show highlights what the Valley has meant to science, technology, and innovation,” said Christopher Lloyd, Doc Brown himself, in a statement. He added that the convention “encapsulates what Back to the Future is about and much of what seems to be such a strong bond for many fans of the film and why it still lives in their imaginations.” Back to the Future: Where Are They Now? The Back to the Future event will take place on Saturday, March 19. Tickets are available on the SVCC website. The Silicon Valley Comic Con was conceived by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and will have an equal focus on pop culture and technology. Other geeky luminaries appearing at the event include William Shatner, Stan Lee, Nathan Fillion, and Jeremy Renner. (You can find a full schedule of panels on the SVCC website.) Unclear if the Back to the Future event will resolve the eternal Back to the Future 2 vs. Back to the Future 3 debate, but we can dream. Close
