Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight may be one bloody sausage fest, but it's all about the mysterious and mischievous Ms. Daisy. Jennifer Jason Leigh is the focus of a new featurette, which dives into her character, Daisy Domergue.

"She's pretty fearless and she's a gutsy girl and a little bit of an animal in a certain way," Leigh said, though her cast mates were more in a state of shock and awe during her performance. "What she's done with Daisy is going to blow peoples' minds," Channing Tatum remarked.

Samuel L. Jackson described Daisy as "a devious little character. She's sitting around watching and thinking. You might think she's just some crazed psychopath. There's a kind of Manson-esque personality inside that character." Kurt Russell continued, "There's a lot of times where she's not saying a lot, but she's doing a helluva lot."

The Hateful Eight also features Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Walton Goggins, Bruce Dern, and Demián Bichir. During a freak blizzard in post-Civil War Wyoming, eight people take shelter in a haberdashery. As the storm strengthens and tensions run high, it becomes clear that not everyone will leave alive.

The film is currently screening its 70mm road show in select theaters, and a wider release will drop on Dec. 31.
