Yes, it was announced today that Adult Swim has renewed sci-fi sitcom Rick and Morty for a third season. “It’s an honor to see Rick and Morty join the exclusive club of shows with over nineteen episodes,” said co-creator and executive producer Dan Harmon in a statement. “It’s time to demand that the network allow us to draw the characters going to Hawaii.” “I am blown away by the seemingly instant success of Rick and Morty. I look forward to continuing their adventures!” said Harmon’s fellow creator and executive producer Justin Roiland, who voices the two lead characters and first first came up with the idea for the show almost a decade ago. The season 2 premiere of Rick and Morty, which was broadcast July 26, ranked No. 1 in its time period among all key adults and men.
