Tarantino's 'Django Unchained' soundtrack revealed

Quentin Tarantino’s movies are often defined by their soundtracks.

The moments stick with you. From Stealers Wheel’s “Stuck in the Middle With You” in the brutal cop mutilation scene of Reservoir Dogs, andthe surfer rock of Pulp Fiction embodied by Dick Dale & His Del-Tones’ “Miserlou” to the anachronistic but ethereal and effective version of David Bowie’s “Cat People (Putting Out Fire)” in Inglourious Basterds as Shosanna puts on her war makeup, the man knows how to use a song.

Now we know the soundtrack to his latest, Django Unchained, a western about a slave-turned bounty hunter (Jamie Foxx) and his quest to rescue his wife from an evil plantation owner (Leonardo DiCaprio), out in theaters December 25.
