Current Position and Past Experience
Alan Kadish serves as President at Touro College and University System, the largest Jewish-sponsored educational institution in the United States. He first joined Touro in 2009 as Senior Provost and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this, he spent 19 years teaching and conducting research at the Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Kadish is a prominent cardiologist, distinguished scholar and has authored more then 300 peer-revised papers and contributed to several textbooks.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Alan Kadish holds a B.A. in Biochemistry from Columbia University and an M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yashiva University. He completed his residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a fellowship in cardiology at the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Kadish is a past chair of the Clinical Cardiology Program Committee of the American Heart Association.
