As we work closer towards a stable core that will support The Quantum Reality Show and The Making of the BABYLON Empire of a Thousand Cities, this is something I really drill into the stakeholders as what we are investing in first: Teams. Teams. And More Teams. Stable Teams. If one is going to launch something as revolutionary crazy as a quantum reality show about the making of a platform that will scale into a 1,000 cities in order to orchestrate their urban ecosystems in order to out-compete all current platforms, one had better start with high caliber teams.

🎓 Preparing my next class: Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) by Scrum.org. I am looking forward to meeting with the participants next week 🚀 The class will be delivered on Monday & Tuesday, as a Live Virtual Class, in French 🇫🇷 🔎 There are many myths and misconceptions about the role of the Product Owner. The accountabilities of the Product Owner, however, go well beyond managing the Product Backlog and writing User Stories. The Product Owner is pivotal to bridging business strategy and product execution in order to help the Scrum Team create valuable products. In this two day class, students will develop and solidify their knowledge of the Scrum framework and the accountabilities of being a Product Owner through instruction and team-based exercises. Students learn techniques that they can use to help them overcome the challenges that are often encountered on a day-to-day basis. Let's imagine a soccer match: "Welcome to the final of the agile champions league, where the real stars are the Agile Coach and the Scrum Master! Here in the stadium, we see how these leaders guide their teams with determination and strategy. From the sidelines, the Agile Coach directs agile tactics, adapting to every situation in the game. "Guys, we need to be agile in our defense! Let's keep communication open and be ready to change direction if necessary," he urges. Meanwhile, on the field, the Scrum Master ensures that each team member is in sync and working together. "Well done, team! Let's keep our focus on our goal and work together to overcome any obstacles," he motivates. And so, the match continues with the Agile Coach and the Scrum Master leading with determination. Every move is guided by vision and collaboration, demonstrating the power of teamwork in the agile realm. How do you maintain equanimity during challenging facilitation moments? Equanimity, or inner smoothness, is a foundational quality for effective facilitation. As facilitators, we often face unexpected challenges or moments when things don’t go as planned. In these situations, maintaining equanimity allows us to remain open, flexible, and adaptive, guiding the group smoothly toward the desired outcomes. While careful planning is essential, the ability to stay calm and adjust to what emerges in the moment is just as critical. Whether it’s through focused breathing, grounding oneself, or mindful inner dialogue, cultivating equanimity helps us to stay present and responsive to the needs of the group. This inner balance not only supports our own facilitation but also sets the tone for others to remain calm and engaged, even when the unexpected happens. #Equanimity #FacilitationSkills #Leadership

I have been trying to use different techniques and tools during virtual facilitation. My latest experiment is with Miro. Miro can be used to brainstorm ideas and collaborative discussions which can easily retrieved for reference at a later point in time. Here is an example of a board I recently used in a session.
