🚶♀️ The Perception of Safety 🚶♀️
How often do we think about safety when we leave our homes? For many of us, it’s only when we feel uneasy or uncomfortable that safety comes to mind. But what if we could navigate the world with that peace of mind from the very start?
That’s exactly what we’re building with Your Way Home—a navigation service that’s aiming to be the Google Maps for safety. It’s more than just avoiding danger; it’s about feeling secure, informed, and prepared on every step of your journey.
We often get asked: “What does safety really mean?” Safety isn't just about major incidents—it’s the small, subtle moments where something feels off, And those moments matter. That's why we've launched our pinning service📌, which lets you share your thoughts about areas in the city where you feel safe or unsafe. Your pins help us map these areas and better understand the city's dynamics.
Together, we’re building a safer city, one pin at a time. Your insights help highlight the places that might need extra attention, and this is just the beginning.
While we may never be completely free of these precautions, our navigation service aims to reduce that anxiety a little. It supports you in feeling safer by helping you plan your routes in advance, offering insights into safer areas, and assisting you in making informed choices about the best way home.
We’re actively developing this navigation tool, and we’d love your help in shaping it. Your pins are valuable, and by sharing your experiences, you’re helping build a smarter, safer city for everyone. 🛡
