🌊 Acabem la primera jornada del #MaritimeHub2024 🌍 El fòrum sobre innovació i economia blava de referència a Catalunya tanca les portes fins demà. Les activitats d’aquesta tarda han estat diverses i han abordat una temàtica clau: les dades i la governança. 💡 Vanessa-Sarah Salvo, del CSIC, ha inaugurat la sessió parlant sobre la importància de les dades i com podem aprofitar la tecnologia per millorar la vida de les persones, optimitzar el capital natural i tenir sempre present la dimensió humana. 📊 Per tractar la qüestió de la monitorització de dades, Noelia Ortega Ortega (Centro Tecnológico Naval y del Mar - CTN) ens ha ofert una ponència molt inspiradora sobre com gestionen les dades al seu centre. Ha destacat especialment el paper de la innovació oberta i de la intel·ligència artificial generativa, que segons ella transformarà el paradigma de la investigació científica. ⚡ Després, hem escoltat Ira Lardinois, Cluster Manager de Blue Energy de POM West-Vlaanderen, que ens ha explicat com des de Flandes estan impulsant l’economia blava amb noves tecnologies i tècniques innovadores. 🌐 Les dades al centre La segona taula rodona del dia, moderada per Maria Rosés Guix (Manager de la Xarxa X4HPC Barcelona Supercomputing Center), ha aprofundit en els reptes per obtenir les dades necessàries per a la investigació i identificar les més útils per als projectes científics. 👥 Els ponents han estat: Jaume Piera (científic sènior, ICM-CSIC - Minka) Esther Blanco Macià (Directora de la Zona Portuària Ports de la Generalitat) Eve Galimany (investigadora, ICATMAR) Ine Moulaert (Vlaams Instituut voor de Zee), representant del país convidat 🔑 Reflexions finals Vanessa-Sarah Salvo ha tancat el dia recordant-nos conceptes essencials: el mar europeu és un actor clau en la transició energètica i ecològica. Per assolir els nostres objectius, necessitem col·laboració, harmonització de dades i una gestió eficient per prendre decisions ràpides. 🔵 Els propers passos: 1️⃣ Enfortir la col·laboració publicoprivada per superar les barreres. 2️⃣ Crear grups de treball per dissenyar un full de ruta que impulsi la descarbonització i l’economia blava. 🌅 Demà ens retrobem a Torre Diagonal One per continuar aquesta travessia cap a l’horitzó blau. Peña has won the Best Tools Paper Award at the WACCPD workshop for his groundbreaking research on automatic performance improvement in directive-based programming for accelerators. La setmana passada vam estar presents al Barcelona Deep Tech Summit juntament amb les altres #xarxesRDIcatalanes per presentar alguns dels projectes més rellevants que han sorgit amb el suport de les nostres eines de suport a la transferència. També vam aprofitar l'espai del #PitchCorner per fer una breu introducció de l'ecosistema de xarxes R+D+I catalanes. Moltes gràcies per la invitació i el suport Barcelona Activa!
