🔬🧬 Much of the work involving the cultivation of mammalian cells and tissues takes place in CO2 incubators, where precise control of air temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide concentration ensures optimal cell growth. 📝✅ Installation Qualification (IQ) is the document certifying that all critical aspects of equipment and those necessary for installation adhere to legal safety requirements and standards outlined in the Design Qualification (DQ). 👩🔬 🔧 In the accompanying image, you can see a glimpse behind the scenes of instrument qualification we were doing earlier this week. Yesterday, 11th February was the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. 🔬 👩 🧬 The day has been celebrated ever since 2016. It was the United Nations that established the day, dedicated to promoting gender equality in #STEM fields and encouraging more women and girls to pursue careers in science and technology. The date 11th February was chosen to honor the birthday of Marie Curie, a pioneering physicist and chemist who made groundbreaking contributions to the fields of radioactivity and nuclear physics.
