hello!

we’re so sorry that every other tumblr user got accidentally exposed to our defrosting meme which showed up extensively on people’s dashboards – we had to get to the bottom of this, because (to be fully transparent) in the past we purchased only one thing on tumblr. and yes, we admit that we shamelessly purchased the verification button back in 2022 because we didn’t want to be left out when everyone else was also getting it. so our social budget for the 4 years we’ve had this tumblr acc is overall 7.99 USD:

to explain what most likely happened, other people can blaze other people’s posts, which is a new function we haven’t turned off because it never caused anything extensive for us to be super aware of it.

so whoever blazed our post – and we believe you’re out there – thank you! we believe it’s really generous and we thank you for spreading the defrosting agenda.

but today we turned off the function so it doesn’t happen again! we run this blog on vibes and our tiny social department never intended to ask for any budget internally for a sponsored post on tumblr because we believe our organic reach and passion for this hellsite is enough to make some noise organically.

THAT BEING SAID, thank you for surviving the defrosting extravaganza. we are happy to report shane and ryan have almost defrosted.

It's a Gravity Falls era, and we're all just living in it.

It's been a big week for Minecraft fans, with the trailer for A Minecraft Movie dropping to much heated discussion. Dan and Phil are on tour, with many on- and off-stage images of the dynamic duo flooding the dash in those corners of Tumblr dot com. Jujutsu Kaisen continues to trend as we approach its completion at the end of the month. The Cats of Tumblr and the Artists on Tumblr get an honorable mention here as they continue to make everything better. And Old Man McGucket makes his first appearance in this particular era, as much of this list continues to read like the phone book for a little town called Gravity Falls.
