[edit]Inherited from Old Marathi भिंती (bhiṃtī), भीत (bhīta), from Maharastri Prakrit 𑀪𑀺𑀢𑁆𑀢𑀺 (bhitti), from Sanskrit भित्ति (bhitti). Cognate with Marwari भींत (bhī̃t). Related to Old Marathi भितागें (bhitāgeṃ).
