Etymologies in Romanian

[edit]

Hello Ekirahardian, I saw that you added dozens of etymologies in Romanian, and most of them are very dubious, even if you use a reference for them, but it seems that you didn't pay attention to what was written in Romanian in them, in some words like reședea, the dictionary asks that you compare the cognate in French, and it doesn't even say anything about French having any influence on this, and even if it had some influence, it would be a calque, not a loan, Since this specific loan is phonologically unlikely or impossible, I assume you didn't pay attention to what was described in the dictionary, or maybe you don't understand or can't read anything in Romanian, Idk. @Ekirahardian Also, don't use the Romanian pronunciation module, it is not ready. Stríðsdrengur (talk) 17:11, 31 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Ekirahardian It is ‘’’not’’’ borrowed, it could be just a calque, dude, pay more attention catolicitate Stríðsdrengur (talk) 20:14, 2 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi @Stríðsdrengur, if you're really sure that I made some mistakes in some pages, feel free to just correct the page, no needs to be hostile/dismissive or act like you're my boss or something. Thank you. Ekirahardian (talk) 03:28, 3 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
I’m not being hostile, I’m just warning about the consequences of your lack of attention, wiki is indeed a collaborative project, but it doesn’t mean that you can do any bad thing and other people will correct it Stríðsdrengur (talk) 11:04, 3 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Stríðsdrengur As I said before, feel free to correct me whenever I make a mistake, no need to assume I'm doing bad things since it's contrary to WT:AGF. Ekirahardian (talk) 12:14, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
The problem is that you are acting in bad faith since I explained to you before how you can improve and you seem to have understood but you still make the same mistake. Stríðsdrengur (talk) 23:26, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
