English: ‘Kala Bhoomi ‘, the Odisha Crafts Museum is a beautiful place to come closure with rich cultural heritage of Odisha, formerly the Kalinga. We can get glimpse of all aspects of unmatched craftsmanship in every field, be it stone curving, metal work, pottery work, handloom, filigree, appliqué work, wood curving or items of daily uses. Tribal Gallery takes you to the remote areas of Odisha, similarly the replicas of Chariots of world famous Rath Yatra of Puri, gives you spiritual feeling of being nearer to the Lord of the entire world ‘ Sri Jagannath ‘. Galleries are well planned and designed with utmost care is display of all items. A small Auditorium is also available for visitors to have visual tour (documentaries) of different craftsmanship and cultural heritage of Odisha.
Kala Bhoomi’ is a great initiative by the Govt. of Odisha to showcase the Art and Culture for the new generation also. Entire museum is surrounded by greenery and gives Visitors a refreshing environment.
