Matthew Sanchez (born 1 December 1970) is an American writer, journalist, warblogger, and Marine reservist.[1] Media attention from his winning the first "Jeane Kirkpatrick Academic Freedom Award" at the Conservative Political Action Conference[2] led to the revelation that he had performed in gay pornographic films in the early 1990s.[1][3]
Sourced
- Despite the heat, horrors and hardship of Iraq, the honest lesson is not that war turns men into monsters, but that men go off to war and often come back even better men.
- Sections for subjects have long been deprecated here and are being phased out where they occur. The standard format for articles on authors is to have quotes listed chronologically by quote, or by section for specific source, usually when there are more than 3 or 4 from a single article or other work.
On porn
- I won't deny it, or that I acted in several adult movies 15 years ago under names like Pierre LaBranche and Rod Majors.

- Porn reduces the mind and flattens the soul.

On the Military
- If an Ivy League student cannot understand the difference between the commandant of the Marine Corps and Osama bin Laden, than higher education has sunk pretty low.

- Someone tell me when the American public went from being the can-doers, to the will-whiners?

- Despite the heat, horrors and hardship of Iraq, the honest lesson is not that war turns men into monsters, but that men go off to war and often come back even better men.
- "Taking Issue with Private Scott Beauchamp" Iraqslogger
- Personally, I'd settle for gays serving, if Congressman John Murtha would stop outing himself as a Marine.

- Many Americans don't want to be bothered with an "unpopular war," but wars are not contestants on "American Idol" and should not be voted on or off our television sets according to the whims of callers with speed-dialing capabilities. War is devastating and should always be unpopular.

On Don't Ask Don't Tell
- Gay activists have a mission for the military and it’s not national defense.
- "Repealing Don’t Ask Don’t Tell Would Be a Disaster" Fox Forums
- Eliminating "don't ask, don't tell" is an invitation to give priority to the self-serving activism of "out and proud" over the self-sacrificing commitment of "just doing my job."
- "Worldnetdaily" Worldnetdaily
- We don't classify soldiers as Democrats, conservatives, Republicans or liberals, but activists would like those who fall in the line of duty to be recognized by who and what turns them on.
- "Worldnetdaily" Worldnetdaily
- Most Marines will agree, there are no “black” Marines, “white” Marines, “Asian” Marines, “Latin” Marines or “gay” Marines–there are just Marines.

Gay Marriage
- Like a staph infection resistant to aggressive antibiotics, Barack Obama has a gay problem that will keep returning if only the American media will recognize and examine the symptoms.
- "Obama's 'gay' problem" Worldnetdaily
- From sea to shinning sea, Americans have defined marriage as between man and woman; whether in Alabama or Alaska, it's safe to say transsexual nuptials are politically toxic.
- "Obama's 'gay' problem" Worldnetdaily
- The repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell (DADT) would force the United States military to accept the future same-sex marriages of those serving.

Race and Politics
- "Hispanics," or the more political term "Latinos," is the broad name for the motley conglomeration of Spanish-speaking peoples who come from all walks between South America and the Caribbean.
- "Worldnetdaily" Worldnetdaily
- "In the struggle for political and social climbing blacks and Latino consider each other as rivals and non-minority Americans as referees."
- "Election Priorities: Latinos vs. Blacks" Human Events
- In New York, where Hispanics outnumber blacks, it is difficult to ignore that there are few Latino beggars on the streets, and fewer black busboys in the restaurants.
- "Election Priorities: Latinos vs. Blacks" Human Events
- There is a pride among Hispanics that causes tension between them and blacks. It is politically correct to deny that this tension exists. But it is real nevertheless.
