This (junior) account has resubmitted an exact copy of Draft:Debbie Sutcliffe after the senior account, which created Draft:Debbie Sutcliffe, has been blocked for undisclosed paid editing. This looks like a mallard. Robert McClenon (talk) 17:06, 10 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I came across the article Jaclyn Ann Suri (Producer) today and checked its page log. Sure enough, the article was previously created an moved to draft at Draft:Jaclyn Ann Suri after User:Sathish1127 failed to disclose his paid connections. Given that the pages are identical, it is a clear sock. Both accounts also edited Mem Ferda, with Araymic moving in [1] after Sathish1127 was banned SamHolt6 (talk) 13:34, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Adding User:Rwiki12 to the list; I saw that they edited Mem Ferda, so checked their edit history and sure enough they have created Debbie Sutcliffe (actress), which was originally created by Sathish1127 and moved to draft at Draft:Debbie Sutcliffe. The same goes for Vanessa Verduga, another past creation of Sathish.--SamHolt6 (talk) 13:51, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That Rwiki12 is (per checkuser) unlikely to be related is troubling, but I still believe the DUCK test should be used. Per their contributions, Rwiki12 has made major edits [2] to Mem Ferda (which both Sathish1127 and Araymic edited) and created [3] both Debbie Sutcliffe (actress) and [4] Vanessa Verduga. For the record, the suspected master account created Debbie Sutcliffe and Draft:Debbie Sutcliffe, and Draft:Vanessa Verduga, which [[5]] is practically (some editors made some edits to the draft) the same. I believe the best evidence is that this version (Sathish1127's last before their block) of the Vanessa Verduga draft [6] is identical to the article Rwiki12 just created. There are just too many instances (including Sathish1127's likely sock Araymic editing [7] one of Rwiki12's articles) to be pure coincidence.--SamHolt6 (talk) 16:57, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@SamHolt6 and Bbb23: I'm not sure if this is obvious sock-puppet, but it's a little bit suspicious: the recently created article Simeon Goodson (comedian) by Captainthusar (talk · contribs) has many similarities to Draft:Simeon Goodson created by Sathish1127. Identical unique passages include "In 2015, Simeon moved with his family to the United Arab Emirates to further expand his worldview" and "He was named no. 26 in Brooklyn Magazine’s 50 Funniest People in Brooklyn list". Captainthusar has also recreated Jon Mack (actress), using a copyrighted photograph uploaded by Sathish1127. --Animalparty! (talk) 08:29, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Miniapolis: Sro23 is correct: all socks are blocked indefinitely. Sockmasters can be blocked for a limited duration, but not the socks themselves. Sro23's choice of the word "certain", though, is not best, and no doubt inadvertent. You just have to be persuaded that the account is a sock. There's very little certainty in this world. CastingMD would appear to be linked to an agency for models and actors (the name is a bit of a giveaway). The others are occasional users who could be employees or merely alternative users of the same IP. Although the contributions are not always outrightly promotional, I am concerned that these possible socks are being used in deletion debates like this one. There was also overlap in my initial research with Jornie09 but I can't recall what it was. I have some saved in a note on my computer at home that I'll gladly add this evening. This looks like a UPE ring. Before voting both users (CastingMD and Teoin27) added some sources at Debbie Sutcliffe and their style of citing sources is exactly same please see this and this. GSS (talk|c|em) 16:08, 5 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I wish I had access to my original write up - there is also an IPV6 and IPV4 range that are identical geoloc and the same ISP, all of which add a majority of content to the articles created by these users. This overlaps Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/CastingMD but Sathish1127 is older.

Lindajune appeared on 6 June 2018 to edit Simeon Goodson (comedian) [8], removing a speedy tag. Simeon Goodson (comedian) was created by blocked sock Captainthusar. They soon went on to edit Italia Kash [9], removing a prod. Italia Kash was created by blocked sockpuppeteer CastingMD.

Jon Mack (actress) was created by Captainthusar and it was deleted. Camproad786 recreated it at Jon Mack (Actress) (capital A).

Christiana Leucas (actress) was originally created by Sathish1127 [10]. Camproad786 edited it [11] removing COI maintenence tags without addressing it. Newly created account Daphinejai moved it from draft space [12]. Peaceking also edited this article. AlcoronelUSA is a SPA editing Christiana Leucas (actress) (claiming otrs confirmation, see below).

South of Swan Creek was created by Peaceking [13]. This film has Debbie Sutcliffe as writer, producer, actor.

Resistance Is Life was created by Peaceking [14] and edited by Daphinejai.

Franz Pagot was created by Camproad786 and then quickly edited by blocked sock Rwiki12.

20 Weeks was crewated by Rwiki12 and then Camproad786 poster updated [15].

This year Mem Ferda has been edited by Sathish1127, Rwiki12, Araymic (blocked sock), and Camproad786. Captainthusar edited around him on other pages, [16], [17], [18], [19] etc.

The amount of overlap appears much too high to be mere coincidence.
