Lee's Summit, Missouri

[edit]

First I wanted to say I like the additions you made. I also agree that the private schools descriptions were a bit much, but should we delete their descriptions without at least making stubs for them to be expanded on? The only thing from them I thought really had to go was the test score and state of the art comment. NPOV and not verifiable. I am a little new to this so please bear with me if I make any mistakes. Thanks, --Abernaki 12:56, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New baseball article improvement drive

[edit]
Baseball Greetings fellow WikiProject Baseball member! Just a quick note: there is now an article improvement drive just for baseball-related articles at WP:BBAID. Please take a look and vote on an article or add one of your own. Once an article has been agreed upon, feel free to stop by and lend a hand in getting it to featured article status. Hope you can participate! —Wknight94 (talk) 01:11, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Phoenix Village Mall, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. If you plan to provide more material to the article, I advise you to do so immediately, and also put a note on Talk:Phoenix Village Mall. An administrator should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 1 under Articles. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such material.Diez2 20:12, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We appreciate your contributions, but we ask you to expand and provide some more notable information to your mall articles. Please read Wikipedia:Stub for more information. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions.Diez2 20:15, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sheesh, can't someone take 10 minutes to make an article? P.Shack 20:23, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why all the dying mall articles?

[edit]

You've been adding articles about non-notable but dying malls from DeadMalls.com. Really, only notable malls should be included in Wikipedia. Here's a site on notable malls in the United States you might find interesting: [1]. --John Nagle 20:36, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Springdale Mall

[edit]

Springdale Mall, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Springdale Mall satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Springdale Mall and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Springdale Mall during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Ten Pound Hammer(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 23:30, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Titans2.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Titans2.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 02:49, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There hasn't been much activity at WikiProject Missouri or any of its child projects lately, and I saw your name on the list of active participants. If you are willing to jump in again, please consider helping to revive the project:

If you know anyone who might be interested in Missouri (its history, culture, sports, people, places, architecture, etc.), please pass this message along to them! If you are still interested in the project but aren't currently active, please add yourself to the list of inactive participants at the bottom of this list. Thanks!

File source problem with File:RaytownRedone.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:RaytownRedone.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:17, 26 February 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nyttend (talk) 22:17, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
