Request reason:
Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. If you feel I did something wrong, please let me know. Almuhammedi (talk) 05:46, 13 May 2017 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You're not blocked for anything you did (in fact, this account is not blocked at all), but because of how you connect to the internet. You may be using a VPN or some sort of proxy server; due to their capacity for abuse Wikipedia does not allow those; see WP:OPENPROXY. If that's not what's happening, we will need to know your IP address to investigate; you can use a site like http://www.whatismyip.org/ to find out your IP address. If you don't want to publish it here on the talk page, you can make use of WP:UTRS to let us know privately. Huon (talk) 08:48, 13 May 2017 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Earth by Chang'e 5-T1.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Earth by Chang'e 5-T1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 02:34, 5 January 2020 (UTC)
Thank you for your alert. I hope someone can clarify it as I find it difficult for me to find the appropriate options. I uploaded the file from science news website (universe today) that itself credited the picture to Xinhua News. I thought it this type should be for fair use, educational purposes. The importance of the photo was to show that not only one unique photo taken in 1960s (Blue Marble), but there are also recent photos by other space agencies. If this iwas not ennough reason, it can be removed.Almuhammedi (talk)
- Nonfree content on Wikipedia must adhere to the nonfree content guidelines, and meet all of the nonfree content criteria. In particular, WP:NFCC#8 on contextual significance is not met with this image. The reader's understanding of the topic is not increased by its addition to the article and as noted in the deletion tagging, there is no significant sourced commentary about the image in the article. -- Whpq (talk) 10:12, 5 January 2020 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Chang'e 5-T1, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chinese (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Unblock me

Request reason:
Caught by a web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 176.123.16.0/20. In Yemen we have no static IPs. The problem is that I even cannot view page source to copy content to our Arabic section for translation. Perhaps the visual editor is always forced. Almuhammedi (talk) 13:24, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
My suggestion is that you forego this process entirely for WP:IPECPROXY, where you can follow the instructions to request IP block exemption so this won't be a problem. — Daniel Case (talk) 07:30, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
