A fact from the article Three stars (ice hockey), which this user created or significantly contributed to, has been featured in the Did you know... section on the Main Page.
Schmloof recorded his first edit on 5 October 2006 on the article of Surrey, British Columbia, his hometown. Since then, his sporadic contributions have mostly been comprised of typographical and formatting fixes. However, since March 2008, he has begun to contribute more material more often, especially in the field of ice hockey. As such, on 16 March 2008, he joined WikiProject Ice Hockey as a semi-active member.
On 28 March 2008, he created his first article, Three stars (ice hockey), which became a Did You Know? article on 3 April 2008.
He greatly rewrote Anson Carter, and hopes to get it promoted to at least "Good Article" status in due time.
Having learned French throughout high school, Schmloof went to Québec for five weeks on a government-sponsored French study program. Also, during his exchange at the National University of Singapore, he travelled extensively throughout Southeast Asia. This is in addition to family vacations and road trip, including trips to Malaysia his parents' country of origin.
Note: this section is roughly defined as “stayed in location for a month or longer and had periods of time in which it did not feel like one was travelling”.
