The Michigan Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (MI-HERC) is a consortium of 27 colleges and universities in Michigan working collaboratively to promote higher education in Michigan and to attract and retain talented and diverse faculty, staff, and executives to its member institutions. It is a part of the National HERC network.

About Michigan HERC

MI-HERC was established in 2007 and has a current membership of 27 institutions. Membership is open to any accredited institution of higher education in Michigan. MI-HERC maintains a website featuring a searchable databaseof all faculty, staff, and executive job openings at each of its member institutions, including a dual-career couple search option. It is one of eleven regional HERCs in the US, consisting of over 450 campuses in 19 states.
