The iPhone 3G is a smartphone produced by Apple Inc. and successor to the first-generation iPhone. It was introduced at the WWDC Conference by Apple Inc. CEO Steve Jobs on 9 June 2008 and it was released to 22 countries on July 11, 2008.[8]
The iPhone 3G differs from the original iPhone with the addition of 3G network connectivity and A-GPS. It also ships with the iPhone OS version 2.0 which includes the App Store and Microsoft Exchange Server support. The update is also available for the original iPhone hardware.
