Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/New page reviewer

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by EF5 (talk | contribs) at 16:08, 13 September 2024 (de-withdrawing, I didn't realize that it still recognized the ~30 other AfDs I've participated in). New page reviewer

Good day. I previously requested this permission but was declined due to lack of editing time on this account (I worked on an IP previously but have no way to prove this). At the risk of appearing too eager for this permission, I am requesting it again as I now have lengthier editing experience. I have demonstrated experience in AfC, AfD, CSD, draftification, and article creation. I also maintain rollbacker and pending change permissions. I believe I can be help bring down the NPP backlog and have the experience and policy understanding that is necessary to do so accurately. Garsh (talk) 01:31, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done for 1 month as a trial run, after which you may reapply. signed, Rosguill talk 13:14, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think I can consider myself fully back from my wikibreak now and I'd like to request NPP rights again. I haven't participated in any AFDs or AFCs since I returned but hopefully that won't be a problem because I've only been away for about half a year. ~ F4U (talkthey/it) 03:31, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done, past track record looks good. signed, Rosguill talk 13:16, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings! I have previously been granted the NPP right for a month, and my trial is about to expire in a few days. And I am thus here to request the right again. You may also post some advice on what I could do better down below. Thanks! Pygos (talk) 12:10, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done, I'm extending the trial for another month. Reviews look good for the most part, but I think Median of the Trapezoid theorem missed the mark and it appears that you haven't engaged much with deletion processes yet in the course of the first trial. signed, Rosguill talk 13:23, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm actively participating in the September 2024 backlog drive. I've reviewed and patrolled lots of articles, disambiguation pages, redirects, drafts, and user pages. My trial will expire on 20, I really enjoyed the experience and would like to continue reviewing new pages. Thank you, Waqar💬 15:18, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done, track record looks good, although I will follow up with you about your use of {{orphan}}. signed, Rosguill talk 13:26, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Planned participation in backlog drive and continued work on primarily minor articles (redirects, stubs etc.). While my editorial work is mostly limited to certain fields I already did some review work tied to RC/NP patrol back in 2014, not sure about changes in user right formats since then, and have continuously been active. I have been a consistent editor for over five years now and have written over 200 articles. I would like to assist in a broader capacity and believe I would be a more than adequate page reviewer. Yeehaw45 (talk) 23:43, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have been an active Wikipedia for over 4 months now and have enjoyed my time on here editing and contributing to the community. If given this right, I humbly and truly commit to using it on a volunteer, fair, and competent basis, and would appreciate the acceptance Aliy Dawut (talk) 02:57, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. Thank you for volunteering, but in reviewing your editing history I wasn't able to find sufficient experience with the deletion process to feel comfortable granting you the permission at this point in time. I encourage you to spend some time at WP:AFD and make policy based votes to show that you're comfortable evaluating notability. Alternatively, you can still apply to help out at Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation. Hey man im josh (talk) 15:30, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I want to be able to help out with the next backlog drive, and be able to get into the more maintennance-y tasks of Wikipedia. I have written 340+ articles, and I want to branch out and do something new for once (article creation does get boring after some time). I've participated in several AfDs (for some reason it only shows 6) and initiated multiple AfDs, have used AfC several times (which is also something I want to be able to help with) and have never been known to be uncivil to other editors (I am a host at the Teahouse as well). I also think I'm going to go through the NPP academy, to make sure I use these tools correctly and have more experience from other editors. :) Sir MemeGod :D (talk - contribs - created articles) 15:35, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
