I've been on this quest to better understand my Greek heritage. (Which seemed like a good idea before I realised it goes back to the start of recorded time.)

This also explains the articles I work on: Greece–Turkey relations, Greece–Ottoman Empire relations, Foreign relations of the Byzantine Empire. I'm now stuck in this Roman-Byzantine world which has delayed my progress towards the Greek underworld.

Currently, my focus is on reviewing the scholarship of the Byzantine Empire and topics around it (somehow, I became involved in the FAR). I'm also usually thinking about a complex topic Draft:Periodisation of Roman civilisation but I've got several more legions of books I don't know exist yet to read before I can get that published.
