No you said since we are in the English speak world wikipedia, then President of Taiwan would be correct. Ok then, go ahead and move the President of the ROC to President of Taiwan. [[User:TingMing|TingMing]] 00:51, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Taiwan

Welcome to Wikipedia! I have to tell you that your edits recently are controversial. Please, when editing Taiwan-related articles, go to the talk pages first and leave a note before you actually edit.--Jerrypp772000 20:30, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and please stop vandalizing Wikipedia. Thanks.--Jerrypp772000 20:32, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why don't you assume good faith. You called me a vandal first. Wow. TingMing 03:36, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You are a vandal of Wikipedia Go away TingMing 20:48, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, I am not a vandal. Please assume good faith, thanks.--Jerrypp772000 21:21, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summary

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. --Borgardetalk 02:12, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

Regarding your edits in Guantian, Tainan, you have reverted my edits three times. One more reversion, and you may be blocked for violating the 3RR.--Jerrypp772000 19:48, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.

The duration of the block is 24 hours. Here are the reverts in question. Nishkid64 21:14, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock TingMing 01:52, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

According to the system, you are not blocked. Kafziel Talk 02:00, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Still blocked.

unblock|24 hour block period has already expired. Therefore I should now be unblocked. However, no one has unblocked me. The message is that I was autoblocked because this IP was recently used by TingMing and that was for the 3 violation for Guantian))

Try, now. – Luna Santin (talk) 03:22, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stop it

Do not try to move all articles about Taiwan to titles about Republic of China. There is no agreement on a naming standard and you are not going to impose one all by yourself. You will get reverted. Things on Wikipedia get done by consensus; you will have to discuss your preferred changes if you want them to stick. --Ideogram 08:42, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The rules are disputed. No one is in favour of the mass renaming you are performing. Any massive changes of this sort need to be approved by consensus; I suggest discussion on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject China/Naming Conventions or Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (Chinese). Until you establish consensus for your changes you will be reverted. (watchlisted you) --Ideogram 20:54, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Kinmen Knife

An editor has nominated Kinmen Knife, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kinmen Knife and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Jayden54Bot 19:14, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A request for arbitration naming you as a party has been filed. --Ideogram 17:32, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

President of Taiwan

Alright, you still haven't make this clear. Chen is the president of Taiwan. Let me ask you, is that statement correct? It is obviously correct, just read the article: President of Taiwan. Thanks.--Jerrypp772000 22:41, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please go and read what the article says, thanks.--Jerrypp772000 23:46, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Note that the article says that the president of the ROC is commonly known as the president of Taiwan. One more question: do you agree that Taiwan is the common name of the ROC?--Jerrypp772000 00:21, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No it doesnt say that. You are mistaken. It says outside of Taiwan. He is still the President of the Republic of China. TingMing 00:27, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is the English-speaking world, which is outside of Taiwan. And no matter what, more people uses the term "president of Taiwan," because the "president of the ROC" is only used in Taiwan.--Jerrypp772000 00:37, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So therefore you should move the President of the Republic of China to President of Taiwan. Is that what you are saying? Do that then. TingMing 00:46, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No. What I'm saying is that saying pres. of Taiwan wouldn't be incorrect in other articles.--Jerrypp772000 00:48, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
