Every nickname must be supported by at least THREE high quality and reliable sources. Obscure or user-generated sources will not be accepted.
- Some examples of high quality and low quality sources can be found at WP:RSP.
At least one source should explicitly state "widely", "known as", "dubbed", "often called", or similar.
In addition, non-honorific nicknames and superlatives do not belong here.

Any entries that fail to satisfy these requirements will be reverted. Thank you for your understanding.

On 31 May 2023, it was proposed that this article be moved to List of honorific nicknames in popular music. The result of the discussion was not moved.

"High Priestess of Soul" should be added as an honorific nickname of Nina Simone, as seen in a variety of sources:

Please add Franzl Lang and his title, the "Yodel King" (or "Jodlerkönig" in German). The Wikipedia article about Franzl Lang already lists his title. I have also added two German news articles where "Jodlerkönig" is mentioned.
