NH07 or Chatara–Nadaha–Kanchanrup Highway is a planned National Highway of Nepal which will be constructed between Koshi Province and Madhesh Province. The Highway section is in Sunsari District of Koshi Province and Saptari District of Madhesh Province. The road section starts from Jhanda Chowk of Chatara (Barahakshetra Municipality) and passes through Nadaha chowk of Bharaul and Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve and finalize at Rupnagar of Kanchanrup municipality in Saptari district of Madhesh Province.[1] [2]
The road section from Jhanda Chowk of Chatara to Nadaha Chowk (Bharaul) is already complted because previously the road section was planned to construct from Kanchi chowk (Pakali) to Chatara via Nadaha Chowk (Bharaul).[3]
The Highway can be categorised as an alternative route of Mahendra Highway to travel the eastern part of the country in the case of non-operable of Koshi Barrage although there is already an alternative Highway (Madan Bhandari Inner Terai Highway) some 35-40 km north from Koshi Barrage (Mahendra Highway).
