Digital audio support

Wikipedia uses the Ogg Vorbis, FLAC and WAV formats for audio, as they are not encumbered by patents (an issue that prompted the decision that MP3 files will not be hosted at Wikipedia). Software supporting Vorbis exists for many platforms...

Mozilla Firefox 4, Opera 10.5 and Google Chrome 3 (and later versions) each include their own support for Ogg Vorbis files.

As for multimedia players, Winamp can be used to play Ogg Vorbis files. Although iTunes does not natively support Vorbis, Xiph.Org provides a QuickTime component which can be used in players that rely on QuickTime, such as iTunes, on both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. DirectShow filters exist to decode Vorbis in multimedia players like Windows Media Player and others which support DirectShow.

Various online tools (such as Zamzar) are available which let you freely convert one file format into another, and can be useful when you want to upload a file to Wikipedia.

1. Wiki link - Click "edit source" and nested the text with double "square brackets".
2. inline citation - use horizontal format of Template:Cite web and Template:Cite book for source from web and book respectively.

You can add back the info as long as you can support the info from independent, reliable sources such as from the newspaper and books for verification. First of all you have a conflict of interest (COI) since you work for UFC for any edits that the subjects are associated/affliated/connected with UFC which included all past and present UFC fighters, marketing agent, UFC fighters coaches, ESPN, and UFC staff. However, if you dont have the source from independent, reliable source that the info can NOT be added/changed since Wikipedia policy is verifiability from independent, reliable source for info added/changed. Since you are here, if you have taken any UFC fighters photos (you are the copyright holder = you took the photo) and would like to release the copyright of the image for anyone to use it, then pls upload them Here and I will crop them in right size to place in the subject pages since we have a hard time to find copyright free images of past and current fighters' images. On behalf of Wikipedia and all MMA editors here, we thank you in advance. I have place a COI message on your talk page since it has come to my attention of your COI with UFC. Also, I do now realize I made some of the organization names too long, so I can fix that if you allow me to change it again. Creatorial, Hi Good day. I have reverted my edits (not sure why I did that, may be wrong click which I didnt intended to for I just want to add "re-used" ref" - btw, thank you for informing me. Yes we use info from the Sherdog for the infobox section. However, if the info is not listed/available from Sherdog, then we see other source for the info along with its source. Sherdog does not provide "Stand" and "Reach" info so we can either get it from UFCstats or Tapology. When we do that and the source need to cite the source. For any info that use on different parts/places on an article - in this case the "Reach" and "Stand" we need to cite the source in one of the info and "re-used" the ref for the 2nd info - see HERE. Recent changes

• The appearance of talk pages changed for all wikis, except for Commons, Wikidata and most Wikipedias (a few have already received this design change). You can read the detail of the changes on Diff. It is possible to opt-out these changes in user preferences ("Show discussion activity"). The deployment will happen at remaining wikis in the coming weeks. [1][2]
• Interface admins now have greater control over the styling of article components on mobile with the introduction of the SiteAdminHelper. More information on how styles can be disabled can be found at the extension's page. [3]
• Wikimedia Enterprise has added article body sections in JSON format and a curated short description field to the existing parsed Infobox. This expansion to the API is also available via Wikimedia Cloud Services. [4]

Changes later this week

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 7 May. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 8 May. It will be on all wikis from 9 May (calendar). [5][6]
• When you look at the Special:Log page, the first view is labelled "All public logs", but it only shows some logs. This label will now say "Main public logs". [7]

Future changes

• A new service will be built to replace Extension:Graph. Details can be found in the latest update regarding this extension.
• Starting May 21, English Wikipedia and German Wikipedia will get the possibility to activate "Add a link". This is part of the progressive deployment of this tool to all Wikipedias. These communities can activate and configure the feature locally. [8]
