Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. Please stop making any edits until you read all policies, understand what an encyclopedia is, how to collaborate properly, and can make edits that are necessary. You have added a bunch of irrelevant or unnecessary data, non-reliable sources, and done a bunch of edit warring WP:3RR. Users can be blocked for this.Smuckola(talk) 09:08, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Altering comments after they've been replied to

Hi, I'm here just to offer a bit of advice regarding your current request for enforcement at WP:AE. You should self-revert the alteration you recently made to your OP [1] since it's already been replied to. Instead, if you need to add anything, make it a separate comment below your OP. It is a rather serious breach of talk page guidelines (which generally also apply to noticeboards) to alter a comment that's already been replied to, so I'd suggest being very careful not to do so in the future. Wishing you the best, Generalrelative (talk) 02:53, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Okay sorry I will do that. Thanks. Lmharding (talk)

Cool. One more thing: you should be signing all comments by typing four tildes ("~"x4). That will make a timestamp appear in addition to the links to your user and user talk pages. Like so: Generalrelative (talk) 02:58, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering about that. Thanks again. Lmharding (talk) 02:59, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Right on. One final piece of advice for now: I would suggest not responding any further at WP:AE unless a question is directly asked of you. Any case involving user behavior is always an instance where "less is more" applies. Take care, Generalrelative (talk) 03:12, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Again thank you. I think I've given my talking points and I'll just wait and see if anyone wants more info from my side. In the meantime I'll observe. Lmharding (talk) 13:58, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Actually on second though I had a few more things on my mind, but Im being cautious. Lmharding (talk) 13:58, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A typo to fix

You made a typo in the link you posted:

"..this [2] may count as WP:MEAT and/or WP:SOCK Lmharding (talk) 05:06, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It should be User talk:Ivan VA#Wikipedia Neutrality. Please fix this right away and note the correction in your edit summary. -- Valjean (talk) 03:20, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, those claims about Housebroken were always on the edge anyway

This is about the LGBT representation in American adult animation page. I honestly don't mind that stuff being removed and I never remember finding any additional sources for those claims. I was already planning to remove some content like that which was added this year before the new year, so I appreciate you from removing it. I'd expect that someone will try and re-add it, so be ready for that. --Historyday01 (talk) 17:25, 24 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, yeah I figured that. The same claims were made on the Housebroken page itself. I'll put both on my watchlist and check to make sure they're not hidden back in there. Thanks. Lmharding (talk) 18:45, 24 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. I think claims like that are people projecting their headcanons into the actual story... it happens more often than not, so much so that people believe that because they see it in a show, it must be canon, even if no one on the cast or crew confirms their headcanon as being there. --Historyday01 (talk) 22:17, 24 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Using The Sun as a source

Information icon Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. If you require further assistance, please look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:10, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

:::Ok sorry. I'll look for another source next time. Thanks.Lmharding (talk) 21:21, 21 January 2022 (UTC))[reply]

Discretionary Sanctions Notice

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Information icon Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, LGBT rights in the Middle East, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 05:45, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reuters is a respected news agency. The consensus about Reuters at WP:RSP is the following: Reuters is a news agency. There is consensus that Reuters is generally reliable. Syndicated reports from Reuters that are published in other sources are also considered generally reliable. Press releases published by Reuters are not automatically reliable. Edits on LGBTQ animation pages

I'm referring to your recent edits on the LGBT representation in American adult animation, Cartoon Network and LGBT representation, and List of animated series with LGBT characters: 2015–2019. Without a doubt, I'm fine with the pages being more concise, but it appears that you are removing reliable sources, often without much explanation. In this case, I'd say that IPs like 71.31.12.33 and 162.40.175.82 have been doing fine editing on LGBTQ animation pages. I don't edit on there as much as I did in the past, but their edits, generally, seem fine to me. So, I'm not sure why you are objecting. Historyday01 (talk) 20:14, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request for WP:30 - "vigilante executions"

@Lmharding, I have opened a request for a third opinion at WP:Third opinion § Active disagreements. You may wish to write a summary of the disagreement at Talk:LGBT rights in Sri Lanka#Summary for WP:30. Thanks. AukusRuckus (talk) 13:01, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I replied, the user responding gave what I feel is a conflicting answer mentioning it shouldn't be but after I made my arguments changing to say it should be included. So that didn't solve much *shrugs* Lmharding (talk) 20:58, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Trans content in Texas

Can I convince you to self-revert? There's an opus consensus against your version, and you haven't responded at the talk page section about it in weeks. It's hard not to see this as stonewalling. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 04:55, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
