Hi everyone!
My name's Daniel and after using wikipedia for a while I decided in June 2005 to contribute more actively. Since then I have written a few articles in the areas of EU politics, history, linguistics, literature.
I am originally from Vienna (AT) but have been living abroad a lot, among other places in Bath (UK), Maastricht (NL), Seattle (USA), Berlin (DE), Brussels (BE) and most recently in Bonn (DE).
I am working as an IT researcher for a German company (I am not a programmer but deal with policy issues). I've previously done a fair share of internships, mostly with NGOs in the development sector but most recently with the EC, DG INFSO. I have also been working as an online editor for two Austrian daily newspapers.
My interests include travel, literature (in particular SF), art, cinema, photography, the internet and politics, in particular EU politics.
I am also writing articles for Europa Digital, a website about the EU (in German).
