Philly
editHe moved to philly. When should this be added? After he can officialy join or when it is announces — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sushidude21! (talk • contribs) 08:06, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- It’s when it’s officially announced, but the fact that Woj or Shams have reported on it should definitely be considered in the future. A lot more reliable sources than any other sports lead reporters 2601:41:C07F:DA50:48D2:2F51:A804:C431 (talk) 10:06, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
It's been 12 hours since he signed with Philly and we still aren't allowed to call him a sixer.
editwhat are we doing man 72.241.148.203 (talk) 20:44, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- Because he hasn't officially signed with the Sixers. Free agent signing period opens on July 6. The news reports you're seeing right now actually translate to "Paul George intends to sign with the Sixers" Troutfarm27 (Talk) 19:19, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- It is confirmed by NBA insiders via NBA.com BonezBarentz (talk) 03:17, 5 July 2024 (UTC)
- Unless these "insiders" can name a team source, and not an anonymous one, there's no basis to rely on an WP:RSBREAKING source. The signing anyways cannot happen during the July moratorium. —Bagumba (talk) 05:34, 5 July 2024 (UTC)

In the “2013–14 season” under the “Professional Career” section it says:
“If he met either of these criteria, the 30% extension is estimated to be worth around $90 million over the 5-year deal.”
It should read: “If he met either of these criteria, the 30% extension was estimated to be worth around $90 million over the 5-year deal.”
In the same section (“2013–14 season” under the “Professional Career” section) it says:
“For his efforts, George was named to the All-NBA third team, qualifying him for the full 30% extension, and All-Defensive First Team.”

Paul George Nickname
editI'm wondering if we should change the nickname that is on the page to have it be PG-8 instead of PG-13 as he is now wearing 8 on the 76ers since his former number, 13, is retired by the 76ers. ReallyAmazingDude13 (talk) 18:43, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
- I think we should keep the nickname PG-13 somewhere as that was his nickname for a large part of his career. FiveXdollars (talk) 04:22, 16 July 2024 (UTC)

I may not review the criteria in a specific order. Please understand.
- It is reasonably well written.

- Please check Words to watch. There are some words like 'but' and 'despite'. Not all uses are wrong, but please correct ones like this: "During the game, he forced a career-high 5 steals and finished with a team-high 16 points; however, despite his effort the Bulldogs lost, 85–68."
- There's only 2 remaining. It will be passed once these two are fixed:

- Despite his accomplishments, George was not considered a major prospect by colleges.
- George had a game-high eight assists in Game 6, but scored just five points on 2-of-16 shooting.
