Gud Morning Kapatid (transl. Good Morning Sibling, stylized as Güd Morning Kapatid) is a Philippine television news broadcasting and talk show broadcast by TV5. Originally hosted by Justin Quirino, Gretchen Ho and Jes delos Santos, it premiered on June 19, 2023, on the network's Gandang Mornings line up, replacing Frontline sa Umaga.[1][2] Ted Failon, Czarina 'DJ Chacha' Guevarra, Andrei Felix, Ruth Cabal, Angela Lagunzad-Castro, Maoui David, Chiqui Roa-Puno and Dimples Romana currently serve as the hosts.[3][4]

Overview
editGud Morning Kapatid premiered on TV5 on June 19, 2023, replacing Frontline sa Umaga as the network's answer to PTV's Rise and Shine Pilipinas, GMA's Unang Hirit, UNTV's Good Morning Kuya and Net 25's Kada Umaga. Justin Quirino, Gretchen Ho and Jes delos Santos served as the original hosts.
On October 30, 2023, Maoui David, Chiqui Roa-Puno and Dimples Romana joined the show as their new hosts.[2][5] However, on November 3, 2023, Gretchen Ho announced her departure from the show.
On October 17, 2024, Jes Delos Sentos and Justin Quirino announced their depature from the show. On October 21, 2024, the network announced its revamp on programming, moving the show starting from 5:30 AM and ending at 8 AM. In addition, around the same time, radio tandem of Ted Failon and Czarina 'DJ Chacha' Guevarra also joined the show anchoring the News5 segment from 6:30 to 7 AM, bringing back partially the program of Ted Failon at DJ Chacha sa Radyo5 in the network, that previously halted on May 3, 2024. Andrei Felix and Ruth Cabal also joined the show, replacing Frontline sa Umaga that ended last October 17, 2024.[4]
