editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Wikipedia:Teahouse, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 18:48, 29 August 2019 (UTC)

"Minor" edits
editHi! This edit caught my attention that you may be misusing the "minor edit" option in edit summaries. I looked at your overall contributions and noticed that you have marked all of your edits as being "minor".
Please note that the term "minor edit" is typically reserved for corrections of typos, punctuation, etc or additions or subtractions of generally less than 100b. I noticed several edits in your contributions that added 1,000+ to an article (for example, this edit). For other editors that may have an article in their watchlist, seeing the "minor edit" option selected makes them think that very little was done to a given article when, in the case of your edits, for example, a substantial change had been made. Disambiguation link notification for October 25
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited David Whitehurst, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bill Kenny (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:53, 25 October 2019 (UTC)

editHello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}

With this edit at 1990 NFL season, you added "February 21- Lindy Mayhew, age 82. Played guard for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1936-1938." What was your source to support this? Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 16:58, 14 July 2023 (UTC)
- Here's the link to the source. It's a website that many who edit the pages here on Wikipedia use.

- My concern is that you make large, detailed, unsourced edits. Could you please add sources to your edits. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 17:21, 14 July 2023 (UTC)
- I just copied the format others have used for other pages, like the MLB pages, and I thought I was okay in my edits. If there is a section marked "sources", can I just link the page I use there? Sportsfan1976 I'm only here because I'm not currently somewhere else. (talk) 17:08, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
