Hello Ulysses411. Welcome to Wikipedia. If you haven't see the Wikipedia tutorial yet, you might find it useful in learning more about how to edit, how to write great articles and about Wikipedia's policies. You might want to introduce yourself at the new users page or help with the collaboration of the week. You can sign your name by typing ~~~~ on any talk page. (However, it's considered bad form to sign your name at the bottom of articles.) If you have any questions, please ask at the help desk or on my talk page. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. --Paul A 05:07, 1 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Novels WikiProject

Hi, and welcome to the Novels WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to fiction books often refered to as "Novels".

A few features that you might find helpful:

There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the members, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! :: Grey Shadow 01:02, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

It is just possible I might have made a few mistakes (laugh, laugh) it happens. I was adding banners in large numbers so it can get a bit fraught. Could you point me in the direction of a single article you could use as example. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 08:10, 12 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

You are quite right that does look rather complete, sorry to be a bother. Too enthusiastic! :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 07:36, 13 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Novels articles

Thanks for your input on Raise the Titanic!, just a thought though when you de-stub and article and it is clearly so, just change the rating of the NovelsWikiProject banner up to Start or better. You seem to know enough of what you are doing to just "Be bold". :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 10:03, 9 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Jim Bob Duggar

Thanks so much for your supportive comment at Talk:Jim Bob Duggar. Unfortunately, Lilkunta has ignored my efforts to communicate and instead continues to make wholesale reverts. Could you read the newest comments on that articles' Talk page and try to reason with them? Thanks. Joie de Vivre 18:13, 1 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

U ignore me Joie. Lilkunta 06:39, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mediation Cabal

You are currently listed as one of the parties in a dispute at the Mediation Cabal. I have offered to mediate this dispute. Please see the Case Page for the dispute to continue mediation. You may respond on the case page or on my talk page if you would prefer. I look forward to hearing your side of the issue--Ulysses411Talk

I added info. But it isnt good enuf 4 Joie. Joie reverts saying I have errors. Her changes have errors. Joie tells me to add to her changes, y doesnt Joie add to my changes? Now she has diff ppl on my *ss tellin me all kinds of stuff. Lilkunta 06:39, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

RFC

I would like to file an RFC on Lilkunta. I have tried and tried to explain why their behavior is not acceptable. They are increasing in hostility and I would just like it to end. One of the requirements for RFC on users is that at least two editors try and fail to resolve the same dispute. Would you please prod them to come to the mediation request? If that fails, I think the RFC would be appropriate. I am really sick of cleaning up Talk:Jim Bob Duggar after Lilkunta sprinkles their comments inside my comments, removes indentation, makes attacks, etc, etc, etc. Joie de Vivre 22:34, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

They just started on another round of reverts at Talk:Jim Bob Duggar. Joie de Vivre 22:36, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I restored my posts to the talk page. 1st Joie repeatedly reverts my edits to the wiki page, and now even my posts to the discussion page arent good enuf! Anyways, I added my relies underneath for cohesiveness. If u look at the page, it flows like a thread/conversation, as opposed to my replies all the way underneath, which makes 1 wonder what am I replying to. I feel Joie is hostile. Joie comments that I'm unacceptable, messing the article up, hostile. All this I could ealiy say to her. The 1 comment I made was in regard to her domination of the wiki page. Joie said that comment belongs on Joie's disc page not Duggar disc page, so when Joie moved it I left it moved. I am trying to be civil.Lilkunta 23:17, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Time for a break

I would like to recommend that both of you take a break from editing the Jim Bob Duggar page and its associated talk page for 5 days as a cooling off period. Both of you seem emotionally invested in the article at the moment and I think a break will help calm things down. While this break is going on I will post a request for review both with the Mediation Cabal members as well as to members of the Wikipedia Biography group. Hopefully these impartial editors will be able to offer insights into the article and perhaps another editor will make changes to the article during the break that will satisfy both of you. If during this break you feel the need to address your concerns further please post them on the case page. So for clarity since people from different time zones are involved please refrain from further edits, reversions and comments until Sunday, April 8th.--Ulysses411 04:30, 3 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

OK. I did post at the Med Cab. So now just wait for a response? Will I be notified when some 1 replies to the MC? Lilkunta 15:48, 3 April 2007 (UTC).Reply

Afternoon Uly, pls tell Joie 2 leave me alone. I dont know if s/he is watching my page or what, but I want no messages from him/her. Joie posted 3 messages. I thought there 2 be no contact until 9 April? Lilkunta 18:59, 5 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Cease request

Fine. I think it's a little ridiculous, considering how mercilessly they pestered me, but fine. Joie de Vivre 00:05, 6 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

How do I change my font colour/size so every 1 may easily read my posts?

Thx Ulysses. Yes I do need help with 1 more thing. R u having trouble w/ reading my posts to you? Leebo sees this & this but I dont. Sometimes I dont see Chiller font but just plain font that is green. What do you see? I will stop using Chiller if I may use another font. I will change colour if I'm able to use another colour. How should I modify <FONT FACE="Chiller" SIZE="2" COLOR="green">? If there is a wiki page 4 fonts & font colours, pls link me to it. Thx! Lilkunta 00:55, 6 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
