In continuation of the strategic partnership between Abou Ghaly Motors Group and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), that began in May 2022 with the aim of advancing Egypt's Vision 2030 towards a green and renewable energy economy, and which included financing for the purchase of 250 electric London Cabs, a new tranche has been signed amounting to EGP 500 million. This funding will support the acquisition of an additional 100 electric London Cabs. This agreement is part of Abou Ghaly Motors Group's expansion plan in the passenger transport sector, aligning with Egypt's national strategy for environmental sustainability through the adoption of eco-friendly electric vehicles. Senator Mohamed Abou Ghaly, Board Member of Abou Ghaly Motors Group, commended the strategic partnership with the EBRD, noting that the new tranche represents a significant expansion of the electric London Cab fleet aimed at serving Egyptian passengers and international tourists visiting Egypt. He described this collaboration as a testament to the technical and organizational competence of Abou Ghaly Motors Group, as well as a reflection of the group's financial strength. This expansion aligns with the group’s strategy to enhance its presence at various Egyptian airports and meets the increasing demand for premium London Cab services in operating cities. Senator Abou Ghaly, also emphasized that the collaboration with the EBRD extends beyond financing, having a significant impact on the group's administrative and technical development plans, as well as its role in community development and job creation for young Egyptians. He expressed his gratitude to the EBRD team for their efforts over the past eight months leading up to the signing and praised the Abou Ghaly Motors Group team responsible for managing this project.
